Great food & ambience! They were welcoming & friendly as well.
I called ahead and made a reservation for my birthday dinner with my parents, letting them know that I am gluten-free. The... restaurant, and especially the chef, was so accommodating in customizing the menu items so that I could eat comfortably here.Our server Naomi was lovely and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious! Ambiance excellent. We had chateaubriand for 2 and there was PLENTY of food. Prepared at the table side which is always... enjoyable. The food here is excellent!!! On the 1-10, it hits the 10!! This a nice place with the right type of ambiance of having fine dining experience. We were offered to sit at a regular table or... sit at a table with a cushy chairs which was further back in the corner next to a private sitting room where there was aprivate event. Of course those cushy chairs were tempting and sitting in the back room away from all the front end commotion was to my preference althoughthe place was relatively empty. That's where it went down hill from there. The waitress was nicebut also very pushy with her specials and wouldn't let us make up our mind about main course by talking over us. I'm certain shemeant well but my daughter and her boyfriend didn't necessarily know better and were pushed into an expensive special steakspecial and when my son and I ordered off the menu she talked down about the order. Right about that point that's when sittingnext to a private room became a headache. The music got very loud and on top of that the people got even loader and they keptgetting drinks after drinks after drinks. I mentioned multiple times how its very loud and even asked to close their doormultiple times and all we were told both by the server and the manager is I'm sorry people are having a good time. We werenever offered to be moved even thought I asked and even though their staff recognized that it was loud no one would bother to doanything about it stating that these are our regular clients. The food was good but definitely over priced and I even mentionedto the server how our bill should be paid by the private event party because of how uncomfortable we were there. No one botheredto even consider to either offer free desert as a courtesy or even comp an item on the bill for having a very loud experience. Plain and simple this place caters to their regulars and didn't care much about a new client other then to sell us on anexpensive meal while lacking any courtesy to create and appease a more comfortable environment.
