So... walked in and the lady at the welcome desk... looked at us.. and looked away.. continued doing what she was doing....... Second lady ... walked right by us and ...continued walking... ONE young lady with beautiful braids in her hair finished servinga table.. walked up to us... took a deep breath... kindly welcomed us... found someone to assist us with our take out order..and was very pleasant.... I think her name is Lachma.. THANK YOU!!! as for the elders...LEARN FROM THE YOUTH.. You may need torely on them one day to serve you... and they just may not share the same skin tone as you. I feel a little torn doing this review ... the gentleman that was doing all the front line work in the restaurant was very kind,... beyond polite and tried very hard to make things right with us ... the food was tasty, although some of it wasn't as hot as itcould have been ... starters were brought out after the main course in some cases and to be honest the wait time from orderingto delivery was beyond unacceptable. We stayed at the hotel near the restaurant for a couple days and visited Denny's for supperboth evenings ... the first night just the two of us, the second night 6 of us. Neither time was the restaurant busy ... firstnight 2 other tables in there, 2nd night one table other then ours. We waited about 30 minutes for our meal after ordering the1st night and well over an hour the 2nd night. If it had been busy it might have been understandable but as mentioned it wasnot. 3 people with us the second night had been there numerous times before, one said it had been her favourite restaurant untilthat night ... they commented it was usually packed, service quick and the food delicious. They had been there in the summer andstated it wasn't the way it was the night we had been there. They didn't recognize the staff that had been there the 2 nightswe'd been there. That all being said the gentleman gave each of us a 10% off coupon good for the next visit and 4 of the 6 of uswere given dessert on the house. He was very gracious in trying to make the situation better. Not sure if they are new ownersbut I hope they get it figured out if they are ... the lack of customers isn't going to keep the doors open long no matter howgood the food is. Took my boyfriend and his two sons here for a nice sit down dinner and was very impressed with the service. Our server was... exceptional and the food was delicious. It wasn't packed so it wasn't too loud and we all left very satisfied and full. We willdefinitely be back again. Read more
Poor food quality and not worth the price. Prime rib breakfast sandwich was mostly fat pieces and very greasy. And the red... skinned potatoes are actually deep fried hash browns. Read more
