I usually like tropical smoothie café but I was disappointed in the attitude and behavior of the staff today. My spouse saw the... person who took money from us go and start making the smoothie without putting on gloves or washing her hands. This is foodhandlers 101: you don?t handle money then food without hand washing. My spouse kindly directed them to please put on glovesbefore touching food. She was given dirty looks and another staff who sneered and left. They did wash their hands and made a newdrink but the attitude remained. My spouse asked if they were wrong in making the request. I?m sorry but a customer making areasonable request should not be given attitude. We just got through a pandemic have we not learned anything about hygiene notto mention refraining from nonverbal body language, comments or facial expressions that make customers uncomfortable.
