Good and service was excellent. Super friendly staff. Felt like being welcomed into a relatives home for dinner. Service was... quick and efficient, serving sizes were perfect, and food wait time was average. I recommend this place for anyone travelingthrough, I will be stopping by again if I'm in the area. Good food and good people. I pass through Hancock frequently to and from DC and had always meant to give this place a try. ... I had heard they had excellent steaks and I heard right. The meat is from a local farm, I believe they own it, and the day'scuts are on display in a case in front, and they encourage patrons to select their individual cut that they would like. I gotthe porterhouse and it was cooked to perfection; I could really tell the cooks take getting it right very seriously and theydelivered it to me personally straight from the kitchen and looked it up and down double checking everything. As for the otheritems on the menu, they may sound ordinary, but they way they make it, in particular the very generous portions and home cookedand local ingredients, makes them really special. I plan to return to sample the club sandwich, cheese steak, burgers, and someof their salads, they all look quite good. The staff is very friendly, there seem to be a lot of locals and they seem to have afriendly rapport. It has a very down home, tranquil vibe that I liked very much. Their omelets were very good, love the ham, egg and cheddar cheese ???? omelet. Home fries could have been a but more crispy.... Though they were good but on the other hand the sausage patties were dry. Is worth your stop for breakfast. I go back one dayand try lunch/dinner. Read more
