Best pizza in Hancock, great service, friendly staff, delicious toppings, highly recommended!

Went there to eat in and got several pizzas. The one pictured is the vegan one and it was delicious. Easily one of the best vegan pizzas I have had and is one of best vegan options in the area. The service was nice and they even gave toy for toddler during stay.

Best thin crust pizza in the houghton/hancock area. 10/10 would recommend.

2 medium pizzas (buy 1, get 1 half off)= $31.00, pricy but everyone told us how wonderful it is, so worth the price. Pulled pork and chicken Alfredo. Dough was not homemade, (had zero chew to it) which is a dealbreaker for us, plus toppings were sparse. Pulled pork toppings were tasty; chicken Alfredo not so much. We?ll stick with Jim?s and the Ambassador.

Leaving at 5 stars as I know times are rough for businesses across the board. However, for $19 we expected something higher quality. Ingredients did not taste fresh, maybe caught you on a bad day. Service was kind & prompt.

Under-staffed, but the staff that was working went above and beyond to make our experience a great one! Very unique venue and the most important DELICIOUS pizza! Keep up the great work!

Check out these loaded toppings!! Sooo good. This place reminds me of Mooses Tooth in Anchorage -- fresh food, homemade crusts & sauces, all the good toppings nobody else has. Sweet Vidalia Onion blue cheese + Hawaiian w/all the peppers they had on the menu. Yum! Also these guys delivered to me in Dollar Bay - I drove 1/2 way in from Lake Linden to meet them. Very easy transaction despite the logistics, I think it was the owners and they were very nice people. I also ordered the Philly sandwich which was not a sub! But their garlicky sourdough bread is yummy too. This place is gonna be my go-to from now on, it's worth driving into Dollar Bay to get actual good pizza! NOTE to owners: please cut thin crust pizza in squares not pies! Your toppings are so massive the foundation of the thin crust needs right angle engineering!

I'd like to begin by asserting that The Studio Pizza serves just about the best pizza that you'll find in the Keweenaw. The ingredients seem very fresh and the pizzas are always cooked to perfection. My issues are not with the quality of the product -- they are with the reliability/integrity of the customer service as well as what I see as some occasional unsavory business practices. It is not uncommon for an order to arrive with missing ingredients or without ordinary requests such as crust/sauce type fulfilled. This would not be such an aggravating issue if these problems were occurring exclusively with the "build your own" variety of pizzas. It is an especially egregious oversight, however, when these errors are somewhat consistently made when ordering one of the "specialty" pizzas. Pizzas whose recipes should be engrained in the mind of the maker, formulas that should be greeted as second nature to the chef. If a pizza requires bacon and bleu cheese and onion, the final product should consist of those ingredients. Not just some bleu cheese set upon a slab of cooked dough and some sauce. So -- beware of botched orders with regard to irregularities/missing ingredients/a disregard for your ordered preferences. I also take issue with what I see as some rather unprofessional business practices. I've had issues with being charged twice (a simple and eventually rectified mistake) by the business but was made to feel, at least initially, as though this double charge was somehow my fault and a problem which was my responsibility to solve. Customer service inquiries can be met with quite a cold response when dealing with anyone but the owner. All of this being said, the pizza is fantastic and you can't do better in that regard if you're in the Keweenaw area. Definitely give The Studio Pizza a couple of shots. They'll probably get your order right on one of those tries.
