Chips and salsa are pretty good here. Light and crispy. Their food lately has been disappointing. I had a dish that had a... tamale, a burrito, a taco and enchilada and it looks awesome but it was just okay. The taco was the best of the four and therice was not cooked very well. Little dried out. Shrimp and crab enchiladas (pic) were decent but nothing to write homeabout. My vegetarian wife had a salad that was she said was pretty good. She had the salad another time and it was almostentirely lettuce. Sister had the vegetarian burrito and they brought her the refried beans which had pork lard in it. They tookit back and re-plated it in with black beans which are vegetarian. She liked the burrito and the rest of the platter. Read more
Not very happy with the food here. I ordered the Mar y Tierra (surf & turf) and found both the chicken taco and the steak strips... to be extremely dry. The seafood enchilada was okay, I guess, but I wouldn?t get it again The chips and salsa, at least, aregreat! Chicken Chimichanga is usually my go to and it was very well made here. The portion sizes do not let you leave hungry. Even... after taking some home it?s still good microwaving. Everything was well made and my server Briana was very helpful and kind. Agood find to go in when you?re hungry. The top shelf margarita is also a great choice as well. Read more
I have dined in, went in for dinner at 9pm, to start with the hostess, barely cared to talk, group of people busy talking among... themselves and checking their phones, just asked me to sit where ever I want, I sat there with no one to take my order foralmost 15 mins, but then waiter came rushing , apologized and took my order, he was helpful and very nice guy. Chevys is definitely our go to spot after shopping the food is always good and the service is great. The restaurant and... bathrooms are always clean. I definitely recommend you check it out if you haven?t been.
