Menu variety and restaurant ambience was great. The same can’t be said about the actual food and service. We were only able to... eat half the Donegal mussels; the other half would not open/were dead. When I raised the issue with my waiter, I barely receivedacknowledgment that this was not okay. The rest of the night it seemed the waiter was avoiding our table as much as possible.Not one ‘Do you need another drink?’ or ‘how’s the entree?’ The steak with wine sauce was terrible. Food was great, owner was a great guy. Really enjoyed our time there. Definitely worth the stop.
We were visiting the area and decided to get something to eat. Lots of people were dining outside so we stopped there. We were... seated inside. Dark interior, lots of wood. I wasn't a fan of the bathroom location, downstairs. We ordered burgers and fishand chips. The burgers were cooked to the correct temp and were tasty. The fish was a bit bland though.
