Best tacos I have ever had. If you are vegetarian, the tacos are not the same generic beans, green peppers, cilantro. Instead,... they are nicely simmered green pepper with onions, avocado slices, and Santa Fe sticks. The chicken tacos are great as well forboth grilled and chicken tinga. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. The staff is super friendly and made us feel at home. We sat outside on a perfect day. ... The place is small with 4 tables inside and 2 outside (weather permitting). We ordered the carne asada plate and the chilerelleno plate. The food is delicious and great quality. The salsas are really good. This is by far my favorite taqueria inthe area. Went again 3 weeks later with my son.. He loved it. He's 17 and wants to go back with friends. TRY THIS PLACE. Came out to the area to have a cigar at Rockys and my friend off some San Marcos reviews said lets try it out. So we stopped up... and I ordered a steak burrito and usual rice and beans. Most definitely worth the high ratings. Food tasted fresh look great ontheir presentation. All around great experience. Family owned the guy working the front was real cool and on point. Better thenthe standard Mexican restaurant thats a bakers dozen. There is definitely some professional culinary experience in their foodand fresh ingredients you can taste and know its true. Their storefront from outside does not do them justice to how good the food and service is inside. I had the steak quesadilla... as shown in the picture. The taste was excellent. Even the presentation of the quesadilla on the plate was impressive. I didnot expect that from a storefront like this. Very nice and courteous folks. Definitely very authentic Mexican food as well asthe people preparing the food. Seems like a family-owned establishment. One thing to remember: there are mot as many places tosit here. Only four tables. so plan on to-go for the most part. I did end up sitting here on one of the four tables inside sincethey had space but I doubt there would be any space at prime lunch time. Read more
