We started to go to another Mexican restaurant, but they had a line to the door. We went to Cancun, and it was busy but there... was a table available for us. Our server immediately took our drink order. He forgot to bring water, but that was okay. Heseemed to be in a big hurry. The food was plentiful and well-seasoned. We both got chicken dishes with vegetables. Our serverdid not return to check on us, but we were able to flag down a manager for water and napkins. I was not asked if I wanted arefill of ice tea, which was unfortunate because the ice tea was great. I had to stop our waiter to ask for a to-go box. We were looking for a late night dinner (9pm) and most of the restaurants in the area were closed or closing. Arrived and it... was not busy, but the young hostess, who was on her phone, ignored our family for 20 seconds, then glanced up and walked away. She returned a couple of minutes later and and just said "how many". (There were only 3 of us.) She grabbed menus and justwalked away again. Honestly was about to turn my family around and leave the restaurant we were so put off by her disinterestedattitude. But.....the waiter was great and the food was good.
