Lunch was great. I had a gyro loaded with meat and tzatziki. The pita was crisped up on the grill. Perfect. My friend had a... veggie sub which he said was delicious. Server and owner both checked up on us and stayed to chat. A welcome addition toreasonably priced local eateries. Edit: I went back to Tito?s for breakfast at 7:00 AM (11/17/2022). Florentine omelet andcrispy hash browns. Nicely prepared with good coffee and a pleasant server. Read more
My husband and I first read about Tito?s Diner on the Nextdoor app. So many people were raving about it, and we decided to give... it a try. It did not disappoint! The diner itself is nicely decorated and very clean. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, andbreakfast is served all day. The food was very delicious! The service was excellent. Terrific diner in the Progress avenue/ Walnut Street area! My goodness, definitely a go- to place for brunch or lunch! Food... is hot and delicious, with a lot of intriguing menu items; prices are very good; and the service is thoughtful and gracious. I had two fried eggs over corned beef hash: delicious, crispy, and rich. My husband got the breakfast burger (= burger toppedwith an egg and bacon) and it was also super satisfying. What a great place to dine at! My family and I came here for breakfast before heading back to NYC, and what a great decision... that was. Our waiter Sam was pleasant and kind, as he listened to our orders, and made sure to continuously check on us, and goteverything right! Our food was great, and inexpensive! Even my picky eater kids ate everything! The owner stopped by our tableto check on us as well, and he was funny, personable and positive. Overall I give Tito?s Diner 5 stars. Whenever we visit PAagain, we?re definitely stopping by! Ps. My mother used the restroom, when she came out, she said it was so clean and nice! We had a wonderful family weekend breakfast here a few weeks ago. The atmosphere is warm and low key. I had steak and eggs and... it was absolutely delicious. Tito came out to greet us towards the end and was so friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was smilingand attentive without hovering. Even the bathrooms were sweet and spacious. The kids seemed comfortable in the setting and thelayout of the tables was pleasant. Excellent experience. Read more
