As stated in other comments. It is no longer at the Seville Hotel. It's on the north side of town. There is literally nothing... bad about Maries. Every dish is delicious (I've had most of them), the servers and management know exactly what they are doing,and the cocktails are excellent. They even have the big ice cubes so your drink doesn't get watered down. Great atmosphere andthe background music is perfect for dining. We go out of town some weekends and the high-end restaurants we go to always getcompared to Marie's. None have beaten it. Read more
What an OUTSTANDING meal at an OUTSTANDING restaurant!! Marie's did not disappoint, in fact, my husband mentioned this was the... best KC strip steak that he had ever had! We started off with Marie's Famous Fried Deviled Eggs, then my husband had theSpecial: KC Strip Steak with Shrimp and Scallop sauce, sides of Marie's Famous Brussel Sprouts and Loaded Baked Potato, while Ihad the Mediterranean Chicken Cutlets with sides of Asparagus and Sweet Potato (which was amazing as well)! Brianne is the best server I've had since way before covid. Had lunch with my visiting daughter and it was fab. Brianne... anticipated our every need like she could read minds. We had the med children and my only complaint is that the olives were notsliced which would have refined the entire dish. We also had a take out order which my husband said was out of this world evenafter traveling over the ferry. We were also allowed to use our own take out containers hence helping the environment. No longer in the Hotel Seville, their new location is farther north on Main st. I was there on a Saturday evening and by the... time I left it was standing room only. The food was a range of very good to excellent. I had the seafood chowder and the fishand chips and I can recommend both. The chowder was flavorful and the fish and chips were the best I?d ever had.
