My wife and I been dinning at this Cracker Barrel for years. We usually go for the Friday fish special. Service is good but... the kitchen has a lot to be desired. We got seated right away but it took 40 minutes to get our food. Second visit in a roweither my food was cold or not what I ordered. At the time the restaurant was not busy. I think the kitchen can't keep up withtake out and the Dine in orders. This store either needs a bigger kitchen or a separate one for take out . I have noticed adecline quality in their food they serve. Go back to the basics serve your customers what they ordered in a reasonable amountof time. What this store is doing now is not working. This place is a true homage to the old world small town vibe. It's even greater in today's day and age is that you can go in and... you'll find the menu items are reasonably priced. There's a whole ranking system there for servers and hosts too! It'sdefinitely a must If you're on a road trip or wanting a good home style meal. Read more

I am very pleased with my visit to this Cracker Barrel restaurant. Even though it was very busy when I came, they were able to... seat me within less than 10 minutes. During the waiting time, I was able to browse the gift shop that the had right next to thedining room. However I did think there were a little too many gadgets up for display for my liking, especially when there is alot of people around. When I was seated, I was greeted by an amazing server. She took my order of a Sweet tea, Fried catfish,hash brown casserole, and macaroni and cheese. She brought all of that out very quickly and it was all delicious. However, Iwould prefer if they didn?t put onions in the casserole because I?m not to much of a fan of cooked onions. The server was prompton refilling my beverage from time to time. And I thought the price was right for what I got. The checkout process was very easytoo. I payed for my meal at the gift shop. Overall though it was not perfect, I had a very pleasant experience and I willdefinitely be back. I highly recommend this place. Read more
