This is a great place for an intimate dinner or one with your family. I can attest to the Wissota burger being one of the best I... have ever had. Not to mention some great fries included. My son would second that. The chicken tortellini is also an excellentdish. If you get a piece of the chocolate cake then you will need at least 2 people to finish it. Read more
Similar to a few other reviews, this was my first visit to Wissota and it was disappointing. The French onion soup I ordered was... good. The $45 steak I had was not. I mentioned to ,I think, a manager that it could use some seasoning, and she said they don'tseason their steaks. That baffled me as minimally I would think a steak would be seasoned with salt and pepper. A good steakshould not require additional toppings to make it taste good. For the side we had the whipped potatoes, I thought there was acheese crust on the top but it was just burnt. The edges were charred black, and did not leave a good taste in the mouth. Forthe price I was expecting a higher quality. But I'm wondering if because this is a chain restaurant attached to a hotel chain,if that is why the prices are elevated. Next time I will drive down to Milwaukee for a steak dinner, or make it at home myself. Read more
We had other plans that fell through and decided to stop in for a couple drinks. Courtney and Ashley made us feel so... comfortable and the happy hour prices were amazing! We really enjoyed the ice cold local beers on tap and delicious appetizers. It was hard to leave! Read more
