I?ve been going to Jay?s beef for 40 years. I?m never disappointed. I usually order a dry combo with sweet peppers.
Without a doubt the best beef in Chicago, especially for the price. Never miss coming here when I'm in town, and as usual they... did not disappoint. This past visit they actually forgot my onion rings and didn't charge me for them, but the fries were an 11out of 10 (best I've ever had here, or pretty much anywhere), so I can't even complain. Sure, it's much easier to hit Portillo'sand get a smaller portion of less flavorful beef for more money, but that would be stupid.
