Imitation seafood ingredients I ordered the Seafood Delight for $17.50. The ingredients were listed as being lobster, king crab,... shrimp and scallops. There was no lobster in it at all, the king crab was substituted with imitation crab, but at least theshrimp was real shrimp. However, the bay scallops had no scallop taste, an unusual texture and did not have the fibers that arecontained in real scallops. The ?scallops? did not even meet the quality of imitation scallops that are made from skate; theyhad a texture more like they were made from surimi which is a fish paste. When I called the restaurant and told her about nothaving lobster in it, she said they didn?t have any so they included more crab and shrimp. When I told her that it was imitationcrab meat she said that she was sorry and would need to change the menu. When I started to tell her about the scallops she saidshe was too busy to talk but would take my number and call me back. She never returned my phone call. It should be noted thatthis was not an on-line order. When I called in the order she did not mention that the See Food Delight would not containlobster or the King Crab. In as much as I want to support small business, it is deceptive to be dishonest about a dish?singredients. Unfortunately I paid in cash so that they wouldn?t have to pay the credit card fee, otherwise I would dispute thecharge for this dish. Read more

This place is really falling off. I ordered dumplings and it had some hard pieces of bone or teeth in it and also had hair like... they rolled it around on the floor. I'm sick to my stomach!! I'm gonna call the health department on these people. For the moneyyou spend here it should be impeccably clean!! The 2 women.that work there are also very nasty with bad attitudes!! I won't beeating here anymore!! Read more

Not sure what the deal is with these bad reviews. Those people must be ordering wrong. I order from here a couple times a month... and I can assure you that New China is an Elite Chinese Take Out Establishment. Sesame chicken is *unmatched* - it?s a little onthe spicier side so maybe ask for it mild if you don?t like heat. It?s not bottled sauce... they use peppers and oranges andgood stuff. Steamed dumplings are fab. Fried are good too I just like steamed better. Egg rolls are delicious. Lo Mein.Delicious. And don?t sleep on the eggplant in garlic sauce!!!! Read more

Pretty bad - the hot and sour soup was decent, but everything else was barely edible. Orange beef - came as one fused brick of... gummy sweet and sour fried bits - I?d estimate at a least a 1:1 ratio of beef to breading, maybe even more breading. I thinkthat bottled sweet chili stuff is most of the sauce. wontons in chili oil - they were deep fried, then put in a sweet and soursauce, which made them very chewy and pulled the wonton skin away from the filling, so you end up a little mystery meatball thatfalls out of the wonton when you bite into it. Pork egg rolls - didn?t really see any pork in here, or any other vegetables forthat matter. Just looked like a bunch of gray shredded cabbage in there. Read more
