We arrived at 10 minutes before their closing time and having been a server in the past, this is annoying. However, we were... greeted warmly and never felt rushed, even when we were undecided about meal choice from their robust menu. My Mom and I had thechicken fried steak and eggs with biscuits. This checked almost all the yum boxes but the scrambled egg was chopped and cooked,not scrambled. but I am picky about breakfast foods. Biscuits warm and fluffy, lots of sausage in gravy and plenty of it on topof my crunchy steak. Oh deliciousness! My 80 year old uncle commented that the raspberry crisp French toast was the best he everhad, and he didn?t need that togo box after all! Prices were very reasonable. Clean establishment as well. But again, and mostappreciated above all, was the warm hospitality received from everyone at closing time on a Sunday afternoon. I so wished welived closer. Read more
Great hometown diner! They had a huge breakfast buffet today, but opted for the lunch menu. Ordered the Corn beef Reuben and... he ordered a cheese burger deluxe and our waitress assured us we would not be disappointed! She was absolutely correct! Twonapkins later, it was messy and delicious! She was coming to the end of her shift, but still didn't miss a beat! Family owned restaurant!! Read their story. I drove waaaay out of my way to have lunch. Chicken parm exceeded my expectations.... They are known for the Breakfast Buffet. The house was packed with midday breakfast customers. Seemed like everyone in thecounty was there. Really confirmed for me that we should support these family owned businesses. They bring quality to yourtable. Do it. Read more
Food was hot and tasty. Plated well and came out quickly. But the best part was the staff. So kind and friendly. I'd eat there... again just because of that. The slight discount for paying with cash was nice too. Read more

I ordered takeout. I got the steak and eggs but the steak was very dry. I also got the chili in a bowl size, but received a cup.... I didn?t look at my food until I returned home. In the food that I did receive, the portions were only half there so I wasmissing some food. What little food was right, was decent. Lot of money to pay for a mistake in the food.
