We dined here often and we?re very happy until one evening we reduced our reservation by 2 one hours in advance and they... attempted to charge us a $40 Cancellation Fee. Seemed ridiculous but their response to our questioning the fee was even worse.The owner yelled at my friend and told us they do not want parties bigger then five. Don?t go here! I really enjoyed this Italian BYOB in Havertown. The food was excellent. the pork chop was a real standout - perfectly cooked,... tender, a little salty in a good way. Servers were all friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, food all came when it shouldwithout inappropriate waits. The restaurant is on the smaller side and was busy even on a weeknight, but we never felt rushed byanyone. I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot, although if you are looking for a quiet, isolated table this isnt the right choice.Overall this was a win, will definitely return. Read more
Went there for first time last Sunday. Food was fair. A friend raved about the Ceasars salad but I found it to be nothing... special, just romaine lettuce and boxed croutons with a dry pasty dressing with a vague hint of anchovies. My partner had thepork chop which was dry and I ordered the special pasta with shrimp and scallops. There were 4 large shrimp, but not one wholescallop. It was pretty nice. They closed the place for a surprise party for my uncle. They had great salads, delicious mussels, my entree... of chicken piccata wasn't spectacular or anything, but it was interesting.
