Have visited many times in the past to enjoy wine and gardens. Did 2 tastings @$30 then bought wine for $80, usually that gets... one of the tastings complimentary, not anymore! Probably won't visit in future as there are others that have nice gardens andwill give a complimentary tastings for the amount we spent. Read more

So I had a very mixed experience this past weekend. First off you MUST ask for Marie, she was one the nicest sweetest tasting... servers I have had in Sonoma. She took the time to learn about both me and my girlfriend and our wine preferences and thencatered a beautiful tasting highlighting many of our likes and dislikes we discussed earlier. The wine itself was amazing, andall 5 samples were great and left you craving more! The views of the winery during autumn were stunning and were the idealplace to take some beautiful photos for social media but this is where the star comes away. We went in the early day so the sunwas very harsh at the edge of the patio so we tried to take our red wine pours and step a few feet in the other direction topose in front of an orange leafed tree. Enter Juan- a self entitled rude employee whom very aggressively yelled at myself and mygirlfriend for trying to take the pictures "in the wrong spot". Without any explanation he starts insisting that we are notallowed to be over there (the welcome walk up path) with our wine. And starts berating me like a child about the rules and how Ihave to pay for a plastic cup to take a photo in this area. I understand rules, but I don't understand disrespect and the way Iwas spoken to was crude and disrespectful to the point where other staff members were tying to intervene and stop Juan'sunprofessionalism. Beautiful winery, amazing wines, and half the staff is amazing! I would highly recommend this place, butwhen I go back again (which I will as an member of the Foley family) I will insist and refuse to be served by Juan. Read more
