Jordan has a series of estate experiences for guests. I took the estate tour which included visits to winery, garden,... vineyards, and hilltop tasting room. Michael was the host and did a great job of presenting the estate. And....the wine wasn'tso bad either! Highly recommend Read more
Excellent wine experience! I came to Wine Country to basically learn how to like wine. I thought having an experience with... pairings would help. It absolutely did! Jordan only makes 2 wines - Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. That surprised me alittle. The experience started with the Chardonnay outside, where we learned about the history and grounds. Then viewed theother side of the property with their garden and some animals. We saw the wine barrel/vat room and learned more about thewinemaking process. Proceeded to the library inside for a pairing with excellent halibut ceviche. I was amazed at how the winechanged with the ceviche. Then we moved into the tasting room where we had a wonderful duck prosciutto bite, a variety ofcheeses, crusty bread and olive oil. Again, the Cabernet and food highlighted each other. It was a beautiful room, and abeautiful winery. Our guide, Jason, was knowledgeable and interesting. It was a perfect was to spend the morning! Read more
