The hostess stand is run by teenagers and there is no rhyme or reason to how or where they seat people. Every time I come here I... ask to sit at the bar and there are multiple open seats, sometimes they sit me at the open seats, but most of the time they tellme they aren't allowed to use the open seats at the bar, and there is always a different reason ranging from saying thebartender is too busy to telling me it would be a fire hazard to sit us at those seats. If sitting people in a certain areawould cause a fire hazard, there should not be seats in that area and I would imagine having them there would not be incompliance with fire code. The food and service from the bartender and wait staff are always great, so I hate to bury arestaurant with a bad review based on one group of staff, but the incompetence and lack of communication from the people incharge of getting you to your seat is simply unacceptable and after having the same experience time and time again, I finallyfeel compelled to say something about it. Waitress was not with it. Didn't fill drinks, or filled one and not the other. Asked for salad refill, never got it. Didn't ask... about dessert... had to wait a long time for change when paying. She needs more training. Pretty basic stuff that she missed themark on. Read more
Like so many restaurants our food was too salty. When the server asked us about our meal I told her this. She immediately said... she would tell her manager. He came to our table and we discussed the salt in the meat sauce and the mozzarella sticks. Hechose to comp the entire lunch for two persons and even included a slice of ????. It was a comfortable & genuine discussion. Because of his demeanor we will be returning customers. Read more
Restaurant quality at its best, I worked at this place 27 years ago...wow...can't believe I'm saying that and I myself don't... feel a day older. I'm giving the waitress a extra pay on the back because amidst being in the weeds as we whom have handled yourfood and served relentlessly, I also picture my mother struggling raising me when she an amazing people person, showed me howto hustle tables , my word not hers, because it takes a special type to go up against the unknown, some customers are a bitmuch. You know who you are, so next time something goes awry, remember it's a chain of events not your wait persons agenda tospoil your dinner, they're just trying to feed their Jeremy (me) . Meal was great. Came outside to get in my car and the sprinkler popped up out of the ground as I went to get in my car. Not only... did I get drenched, but my purse was soaked along with the entire left side of my car because it kicked on while my car door wasopen. Read more
Great experience! We always enjoy the never ending pasta bowl and time with family. Good and service were both wonderful!
