Friday Nov 4th around 8am. I was trying to use my rewards. I ordered a venti chocolate cream cold brew and snowman cookie ??... it's my first time redeeming rewards. I was being discounted the cookie which isn't really convenient since it's 1.55. I wantedmy drink discounted. Anyways I thought it would be free for both cause like I said it's my first time using rewards and I had132 stars ???? So I was being charged for my drink which I thought was kinda useless I don't get to choose how to use my stars?I didn't have my wallet with me thinking it would be free so I went out to get it and on the way I thought I should go toanother Starbucks and buy them separately so I can get the drink free ???? So I'm on my way back to work which is more than anhour. On the way I find a Starbucks and there I go to claim my free drink which I didn't get cause I didn't have enough starrewards. I guess that girl cashier never put them back or took them away from me. Not sure. I didn't get anything after all. Mygf asks about my morning and I let her know what had happened. She couldn't believe it and she has star rewards herself and shecomes to tell me that they're supposed to give you the option of how you want to use your rewards. I couldn't believe it! I justwanted a free drink with my rewards I felt like my money, my options and my time was being taken from me. It wasn't a pleasantmorning. It could've all been avoided if she knew how to do her job properly. Or am I wrong? Last Friday same girl gave me aSalt & Caramel cold brew that's the worst one to get in my opinion I always get chocolate cream cold brew. I live in Oceanside and went to this Starbucks because I was visiting family in hemet. I thought it was such a nice store and... wanted to write a review and then I saw the review regarding Olivia. She actually helped me in the drive through yesterday andshe was just the sweetest thing. Even told me to drive safe when I told her of my long drive ahead of me. You don?t see manyyoung kids with manners like that these days. And yes she did give me the CORRECT amount of change. The only thing wrong withthe store is that they made my drink incorrectly but I?m sure it was just because they were busy. Read more
