Looks are deceiving, very nice upscale Cafe, just don?t expect the upscale quality food to go with it. Corn beef hash was not... fresh. It felt like chewing on pieces of rubber. The hash brown potatoes were like a McDonalds drive thru type. The only thingfresh was the over easy eggs. Disappointing experience, not coming again. Read more
I go to the end Cafe frequently, for Caesar salad, or Cobb salad without any meat on it. This last time when I got the Caesar... salad, and I bought it home, the lettuce just wasn't as fresh as I would have liked, so I wasn't very happy. So first of all the wait is long and no one came to let us know when we would be seated. we stood in line and waited. after... maybe 10 to 15 mins someone came to sit the group ahead of us and again noone acknowledged us. after we got seated we ordered apasta dish and filet mignon. the filet was one of the few steak options and its the reason this is a 2 star review. Although itwas very tender and cooked well, it was tiny. like about 4oz filet in sauce and was one of the most expensive entrees on themenu. honestly i felt robbed. my wife was happy with her pasta dish and says it was it was a little underdone but sauce andcheese were good. Considering it's the first day they are open, I tried to be understanding. There are many kinks to be worked out. The staff... needs more extensive training on the menu items. I appreciate the attempt at making things right that went wrong - very friendlystaff. Wish the manager would have come to talk with us regarding our experience.
