Menu for Zaiqa Restaurant in Hercules, CA

I was excited to eat here because I like Indian food and its in my neighborhood. Well my 1st time here and it was the worst... service ever! The lady just ignore me she didn?t greet me when I came in. She just looked at me and walked away. It wasn?t busyat all just two customers which was already helped. So I had to walk up to her with a warm smile to catch her so she can helpme. So she kept going to this other man that was siting at the table and asking questions.(?Found out he work there because heasked me have you been help yet?? I said no still waiting ) So he Instructed her to help me. It?s been a while she finally caneto me and asked are you ready ? ( she look very unset to help me.) So when I was making my order at the table she told me toget up and order at the register and pay first. So I thought that was different but did it anyway. I let her know that I?mhighly allergic to a particular Item and please not to include it to any of my dishes. She said she will let them know NOT toput it in my dishes I order. So she walked to my table and put my drink down on my table in a plastic cup. Then later she cameout with my food bagged up to go. I asked her why is it to go? It?s for here that?s why I was sitting at the table and ordering.SMH So when I open the bag it had what I asked her NOT to put in my food that I can?t eat I?m Allergic!!! Response was it?s justthe sauce. I said you can take it back I would have to be rushed to the ER if I eat that so please take it back. I didn?t have aplate, utensils or even water. Food is generally spicy even for me who is indian and eat a lot of spicy stuff. I ordered 5 dishes. Average taste and service... as anywhere else. Same dishes that cost 7-9$ in other places are $12-14. Poor quality of chicken. I doubt if they get theirchicken from walmart (dont think its halal either). and please remove big chunks of fat from that cheap boneless chicken Read more
