Menu for Heartland RV Park & Cabins in Hermosa, SD

We stayed here if five days with a group of 21 other RVs. Sites are level and the road noise was minimal and tolerable. There... was live music three nights and deee wine tasting the fourth night. Unfortunately the event center closed 9/11 for the season.Hopefully they will be back next season. Besides entertainment, they have breakfast and dinner. Only thing to be concerned aboutwas when the wind picked up. Bring in your awnings!!!! We only used the laundry facilities and they were very clean as was theentire park. The welcoming and check in staff were extremely helpful and even offered wood blocks to place under the levelingjacks due to expected rain. Never have had that happen before. Great location to see everything in the area! Crazy HorseMemorial, Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, Needles and Iron Mountain Highway, The Badlands and Wall Drugs are with in easydriving distance. Don?t take your RV to Custer State Park due the the tunnels. Read more

Nice, clean and quiet place. Pool was heated and nice. Had breakfast and supper reasonably priced. Bathrooms and showers were... very clean and nice! Had live music a few nights a week that was good as well. It is about 25 minutes from Rapid City. No treesreally around the camper spots but would stay again! Read more

Heartland was everything we hoped it would be and more! My fiancé and I pulled our 19' RV to the campground and were impressed... from start to finish! The hospitality was first rate with a welcoming staff at the front store that helped us find our parkingspot and were really helpful with suggesting things to do. We were there for the wine tasting which was really fun and thepizza was amazing at the lodge. We needed a leveling block for our camper and they were so helpful with that too! The communalrestrooms and showers were extremely clean and really nice! This campground is also so close to everything! We were able toget to Custer, Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, and the Badlands all within an hour (or a little over). We were sad we didn't haveenough time in the day for the live music in the evenings because we thought that would have been really fun. I would recommendthis campground to anyone! Read more

Fantastic experience. The staff was phenomenal. The live music was a treat, the restaurant was good and the drinks fab. The... pool and bathrooms were clean It was in a nice location to go do all the things and see all the sites - not as close as itcould have been, but not too far either. The RV sites were roomy and well maintained. All in all it was a great park wr wouldabsolutely visit again. Read more

Husband and I are full timers and stayed a week at Heartland. I would highly recommend them for your SD home base. Our... positive experience started the moment we pulled in. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Campground is spotless and so wellkept. We enjoyed the wine tasting on Thursday nights ! They have a restaurant / event center with food, drinks andentertainment.
