I frequently visit the 2 McAlister locations in Denton and always have a delicious meal. I dined the HV location, for the first... time, on 11/18 with my granddaughter for dinner. Our meals were totally disappointing! Child?s soup cup & half sandwich, adultversion soup cup & half sandwich with 2 small drinks was $26.00. The food was terrible. My tortilla soup tasted like someoneforgot to add enough liquid to the mix-too salty to eat. This was accompanied by a 6 or 7stale tortilla chips. Stale grocerystore bread with cheese covering about a third of the bread. The child?s soup was ok but sandwich was same bread with a 2? pieceof turkey & tiny piece of cheese. There was no value for the money I paid. I see on other reviews the only responses areuseless rambling. I don?t expect anything but maybe this will warn others from patronizing this location. awful experience they now have an upcharge for adults getting a kids meal. I ate here two days ago with a kids meal and it was... $1.60. they tried to charge me $5. the person at the register said "oh yeah, I'm not from this store but we have to do anupcharge now it changed a month ago." I was there TWO days ago with no upcharge? the employees obviously need to be on the samepage. Read more
Indoor and outdoor seating available. I had the chicken tortilla soup and it was pretty good. I could see myself craving it... again. My brother asked for a Cuban which is no longer on the menu and they recommended the Italian as an alternative. Kindstaff and the wait for the food seemed quick! Read more
