Ordered a pizza, told it would be an hour. Tried to pick up my pizza after said hour, paid for it and was told, rather rudely,... that it would be another 25 minutes. Asked, again rudely, if I just wanted a refund or the pizza. I am local and will not beordering again. They lost once a week business. Read more

Ordered two large takeout pizzas to go and it took over an hour to get our order. Don't know if they are under staffed but be... prepared to wait! They did apologize though for the wait when we eventually got our pizzas. One was cheese and was good butthe buffalo chicken was SUPER salty and very skimpy on the chicken pieces. Not cheap for pizza but beats paying crazy pricesfor sit down pizza in nearby establishments! Read more

This is probably the best pizza in Highlands! Great food, very friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for... some great Italian food, definitely stop by The Pizza Place. I would highly recommend the Buffalo chicken pizza. Read more

I was very excited to see this spot reopened. It's been a favorite of my family's over the years. Great job to the new owners... because I feel like the pizza is even better than before! I also love that they didn't change much inside and still had thedining room in the back available. All the staff were very friendly as well. We each had a personal size pizza: Greek pizza,Buffalo chicken pizza and a regular cheese for my son. The crust was delicious, toppings were just the right amount. My husbandand I shared the gorgonzola salad as a starter and it was delicious and a very good size. If you're looking for a laid back butdelicious spot to eat in Highlands, this is definitely the one! We'll see you next summer for more pies! Read more

In a land of overpriced, snooty, bland places that are trying too hard to be "big city" snooty... be a Pizza Place. Seriously... we walked downtown highlands and looking at all the places to eat it was $50-$100 Per PERSON. That was pricey, especially inthis economy. So we see this small hole in the wall door, a old wood sign nothing fancy. Take a peek at Google and it looksdecent. So we head in, and I thought at first "oh no, it isnt dine in"...WRONG. it's like a shotgun house! You order up frontand they have this gorgeous vaulted room in the back with huge solid wood tables! Plenty of light, breezy and just homey and hasthe actual small mountain town feel!! We got our food fast! The pizza breadsticks were delicious. The French dip sandwich wasawesome, the cheese pizza was absolutely stuffed with cheese and sauce!! And the calzone was perfect!! Plus we only spent like$45 for all of us! Plus we had food to take home!! This place was also super kid friendly which is something this entire towndoesn't seem to be. I mean they have 2 kids shops but it's more of the "seen not heard" type of kids. Honestly I'm so happy wefound this place since we were honestly thinking of just finding fast food and giving up on eating in town. Read more

Newly reopened, it always takes a little while to find your groove. Gave it a try after great reviews. $43 for 2 16" pizzas -... they were good, but stingy with the toppings. Ordered sausage and mushrooms on half, was charged full topping price, which istypical, except there were 10 paper thin mushroom slices and probably a tbsp of sausage. I understand food cost, but if you'regoing to charge for it, put it on there. Could have been trying to conserve low stock, training a newbie, full moon, anything,so I will try again another time and go from there. Read more
