My sister and I took a road trip last weekend. We heard from our parents to check out Sick N Twisted Brewery; they had visited a... few weeks before. We are from out of state. Our parents went to the Sick N Twisted location in Deadwood, SD. My sister and Iwent to the other location in Hill City, SD. We were excited to try this new place our parents spoke highly of. Upon entry, thebartender acted like she was too busy to help us. 15 minutes later, another bartender came out to assist us. She was surprisedwe had not been helped. She proceeded to rush through our wine tasting options. It was very uncomfortable. We paid extra to sitdown and drink our wine. There was different costs to stand and drink vs. sit and drink. The wine was good; hence the 2 stars. The service was disappointing. We felt very unwelcome. Both bartenders did not smile at all. This was a very differentexperience compared to other establishments in the area. I am the least pickiest person but after being so excited and then letdown, I felt obliged to write a review. I recommend going to the Deadwood, SD location; our parents reported the service wasexcellent there. The date was the evening of 9/30/22. I even bought a few bottles and there still was no smile or friendlinessfrom the bartender at the Hill City location. I'm not sure what exactly was going on but they clearly were not happy to be thereor happy we were there. Hate to be a downer but this was the experience. Read more

So we called to see if they can accommodate gluten free on the food part of things. Then we drove over there. Cool looking... place.. We visit many wineries and do reviews on them. We Get there and of course they have a different system. Interesting andokay with us. Order the wines and beers... Suddenly no one seems to know 'Gluten Free '. So we talk then through it. Figuretheir chef has an idea. The board comes out with bread on it and other 'stuff' that wasn't gluten free. They had gluten freecrackers... Asked for the meat and cheese... Fruits and veggies.... No bread no gluten items. The person preparing it came outto talk to us. Still when she brought out the board... Here is all this gluten stuff on it. Bread mostly. Confronted with itshe shrugged it off and walked away. How can people in the food industry be this way. If you can't do gf just say so. I willleave!!! Apparently they don't mind if their customers get sick. Now their wine was good and I ate stuff that wasn't next tothe gluten items... But little pieces of the stuff were thrown all over. I will admit that at that point I should have justgotten up... Left and lost all the money I had put into being there. But I didn't. They also had a no dog sign except leashed onporch (out side). Yet they had a little dog that must have been the house dog that day by us nearly the entire time and wantedour food. Then a family with little kids came and then we had their daughter over there to get the dog's attention constantly. It was getting to be a bit much. I Love dogs and kids but it was getting to be a bit much. So we have the little girl Piece ofcheese to give the dog then went up to pay. The dog followed me and was licking my legs...I had on a summer dress. Takes 2hours for me to get sick when I eat gluten... So am waiting with fingers crossed that I don't get sick.... But we won't begoing back. Read more

We were disappointed in this brewery. When we asked to taste a beer, the bartender (middle age lady) was very rude and said why... don?t you just get a flight. When she allowed us to taste and then ultimately get a flight, it was a third Foam in each glass. Even the sample was half foam. Would not recommend this brewery. Read more

We expected much better for the current Google rating. They don?t allow tastes, you buy a flight or a glass. My husband hated... his and brought the full glass back for a different drink. They charged him the full price for the second drink too, which wasless than stellar. Poor business skills. If the customer ain?t happy, make ?em happy. My beer flight was ok. We wanted dinnerand they said they have it. Meh pizza for $22 is NOT good. Ingredients on the Hawaiian pizza were sparse. Other choices were twosandwiches and some appetizers. Oh, and a dog roamed around inside the whole time we were there. Health inspectors, where wereyou?? I should have taken my cue from the lack of cars in the lot. Read more
