Visiting from Florida, found this place on TikTok, let me tell you, me and the other three people that were with me were very... pleased. The order taker was very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. All of our food was hot anddelicious. I had the 1/4 dark chicken with a side of lime beans, macaroni and cheese and the Lemon pound cake. The cake was verymoist and fluffy. Let me start off by saying customer service is top notch. Today was my 1st time here and I LOVED it. I met the owner she was... beyond friendly. An her customer service made me want to come back even more. I had the smoothed chicken, sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese and I smashed EVERYTHING. No leftover lol. I booked Just Like Mama's to cater a special event for my place of work, and they were PHENOMENAL! Veda was awesome to work with... while we were planning the menu, her entire team was amazing, and the food was a 12 out of 10! Our event attendees loved thefood (and I did, too!) LOVE the customer service. Veeta has the best customer service I have ever experienced in a long time. I heard really good... things about this restaurant and decided to try for myself. My husband and I had the fish dinner and the fried chicken dinner.The food was delicious. I didn't need to use hot sauce for my fish it was seasoned and it was not salty. The mac and cheese andthe yams were delicious. The fried green tomatoes was delicious too. Veeta made us feel welcome and greeted us with a smile.
