Excellent good, fast service, and friendly! We actually came to go to the crab shack but it has a 2 hour line, so went to Chow... Daddy's instead. Boy are we glad we did! Walked in, had friendly service, ordered food and had it on the table in under 30 mintotal! Not only that, but all our food was top notch great and tasty! Honestly don't think we could have had a better meal andglad we came here instead. The pulled pork was good, the smoked fried chicken with sirracha aoili was outstanding, southernfried chicken also great, as well as the veggie bowl. Definitely will go again, and gonna be hard to top this meal on the restof our trip I think! ???? Read more
Ciao Daddy…… Chow Daddy’s seems to be running like a once amazing restaurant by a current staff without a leader. The food... and menu has so much potential, but fell flat Pros: Options for most eaters (burger, fried chicken, rice bowl, taco) Easy toget a table Reasonable prices Flavorful food (clarified below) Fun stuff to do if you have to wait (ping pong/pinball- if youbring 75 cents/ game) Cons Incredibly under-staffed Kitchen could not keep up Food was tired (explained below) Sides/starterswere TINY Wait staff very disorganized Meal took 50 minutes to arrive —-Meal details— We ordered the Mexican corn, gotabout 2 Tablespoons for a side/starter. So we ordered more tasted amazing! Ordered buttermilk corn bread- came out FRIED- notmentioned on the menu… was gross. And charred Ordered fries, over salted, ugh..but that’s my preference Main meal- two ofus ordered tacos- it was more like Kale salad in a tortilla with a smidge of meat. But, Great sriracha sauce. Two of us orderedfried chicken sandwich- it was good with the sauce and sweet pickle- but the fryer-oil tasted like it hadn’t been changed in awhile. Other two got the bowl with rice and fish. Fish was good, but again the kitchen used Kale like it was the hottestvegetable ever and missed the mark -ALL IN ALL we have seen this place for years, read reviews - but passed It by. Great local spot in Hilton Head for Burgers, Tacos, and drinks. We first started out with the cornbread which was delicious and... then the cheeseburger hit the spot - not too big but were filling. Our kids loved the homemade ice cream sandwhich too! Read more

The food here is incredible! I highly recommend. We had carry out here during the pandemic two years ago and this was our first... time dining inside. The food was delicious. The cornbread, shrimp tacos, sangria, fried chicken bowl, mahi bowl, salad withshrimp all GREAT. My wife, our teenagers, and my parents all highly enjoyed their food. The cornbread was so good we had threeorders! Again, I highly recommend. Big shout out to Claudia our waitress. She was phenomenal. All the best to her startingcollege! Read more
