The best thing about Jake's pizza is that they are wonderfully convenient. If you are staying in Sea Pines and need a quick,... easy meal this is the way to go. That being said, you should know ahead of time that this convenience, and not great pizza, iswhat you are paying for. $20 for a large cheese pizza is extremely high compared to most pizza places. The pizza itself is notbad. The cheese and sauce are good. The dough is rolled through a roller rather than being hand tossed, so it is robbed of thetexture that you would normally expect of NY style pizza. I could understand their prices more if the pizza was excellentand/or they had a large dine in space resulting in more overhead costs. They are serving ok pizza out of what is basically alarge closet with walk up service only. They should be able to do better for the money they are charging. We will order Jake'spizza again but only when we are pressed for time and/or want something easy and convenient. Read more

Very disappointed overall with this place. Gotten pizza from here every summer since 2014 never had this kind of problem with... the pizza. I never write reviews but after spending almost $30 on a "build your own" 16" pie, this is what I saw after openingthe pizza box. Half of it was supposed to be a meat lovers pizza, the other half just pineapple. Would think the worker wouldnotice that a fourth of the pizza is entirely covered in sausage and try and spread it out but I guess not. They didn't evenhonor the discount for Sea Pines owners when I asked. They said they "don't do the discount here", which isn't true. Probablywill be my last time buying pizza from here even though it is the most convenient place to go Read more

I think I have lunchables better than the $48 for 2 pizzas here. Pizza was burnt and horrible. No one should eat pizza from this... place. Several other pizza places to try on the island. Read more

Ever eaten a Lunchable pizza? Ever eaten anything from Chef Boyardee? Bland sauce. Bland cheese. Bland sausage. Bland,... bland, bland. And unexpectedly soft. Might even have a little sugar in it. Great for toddlers, very young children, andperhaps elderly folks from the Midwest who recall fondly the chow that sustained them through the depression. Adults who havehad good pizza will be disappointed, however. A whole pizza comes in a plain brown pizza box. No name. No phone number. Just ageneric brown box. Clearly a sign they aren't proud of their food and aren't looking for repeat business. If you aren't tryingto cater to grandma's or baby's restricted diet, a better bet is Guiseppi's in Sea Pines Center. All that being said, most ofthis pizza is probably consumed by tourists who are either elderly or travelling with youngsters. The kids are going to be uplate, down at the Salty Dog, and not interested in eating anything that is even remotely spicy. For them, this is probablyperfect. PERFECT. Read more
