First of all, I love cupcakes, or any cake for that matter. It was my birthday, and my husband and I were visiting HHI this... weekend. I googled bakeries and found this place. Was super excited to go because 1) I love cupcakes and 2) hello, it was mybirthday! We went to this place yesterday on the way home. I've never been in a business where the employee was socold/unwelcoming/unkind/and just plain rude. Also at $5 per cupcake, super expensive. Once we got home to Charlotte, I tried one(only bought 4 at that price,) and was super disappointed. The icing was fine, but the cake was dry and didn't taste freshlybaked. Overall disappointing experience and we'll never go back. Perhaps we weren't the right hue to be treated nicely, butplease start to treat all customers kindly. It's the right thing to do. Read more

Sweet Carolina is usually a family favorite, we couldn't wait to visit on Wednesday for the strawberry cupcakes and red velvet... cupcakes. But very sadly the cupcakes were very very dry, icing was decent. We purchased a dozen, for $5.50 a cupcake we werehoping for a delicious moist cake. Read more
