A true gem in the middle of Wisconsin just off I-94 on Highway 95 in Hixton. Stopped on my home from Milwaukee in October for... the cheap gas. Found a great restaurant harkening back to the days when truck stops offered well prepared, real, down home food. So refreshing not to have to settle for the typical over priced, mediocre fast food junk that now predominates along almostevery interstate. They have an extensive menu with all the classic comfort foods at really reasonable prices. The service wasfast and effcient. The the restaurant is extremely well maintained and they have a well stocked convenience store attached. I've moved this stop to the top of my list for trips between Minneapolis and Milwaukee.
