The chef is THE BEST!!! My husband and I went to Saku tonight and ordered a few items including the tuna tartar. It tasted fishy... and the color seemed a little off. As uncomfortable as it was, we sent it back. The waitress was so gracious and apologized andtold us she'd take it off the bill. Then the chef came out and apologized as well and brought us salmon tartar. It wasdelicious! He came out again and brought us a different kind of tuna dish on the house. Great, cute place to eat out with friends or to go on a nice date. Food was excellent with a great variety of options. Tasty... cocktails too. Kind of pricey but worth it. Highly recommend making reservations for groups of 3 or more. I had the short ribramen and pomegranate cocktail. Read more
Nice interior and attentive service, but very mediocre and pricey rolls. We ordered a sushi platter which comes with 8 rolls... (99$). Even though the order looks massive we find nothin special or significant about any of the rolls, nor they were cheap. Ifyou are craving for sushi it will make sense to hop on Path train to NYC or go to JC by light rail and have an omakase foraround same price (Sushi on Jones or Sushi by Bou). Attention! The place charges 3% processing fee if you are using creditcard(which I see the first time and definitely not making the place look good). Read more

I cannot say more about this restaurant. I met a girl here in 2019 and tomorrow, we’re getting married. Everything about Saku... is absolutely perfect and vibrant. The food is delicious and Corina (our waitress) has been the same amazing host for all of ourdates! If you haven’t been here before and looking for new food to try or even just to experience somewhere new, go to Saku.You will not be disappointed.
