This place is the bomb. I grew up in Fuquay Varina, right on the border with Holly Springs. While I now live in Raleigh,... Homegrown Pizza was essentially a weekly staple for my family when I was growing up. Needless to say I was thrilled to see thatit was still open when I was last in the area. Everything I?ve ever eaten there has been fantastic. They have a good variety ofcraft beers on tap, as well as bottles and cans. My mom and I decided to stop by for lunch and a drink. She got a pizza(pictured) and I got a monstrously large calzone. Absolutely delicious, just as I remembered! Do yourself a favor and give thisplace a shot. It is stellar. Lastly, kudos to the waitress who took care of us. Unfortunately I do not recall her name. She wasthe only one working and yet she seamlessly managed to wait on four or five different tables.
