The wait time for party of two on Wednesday night at 6PM was 30 minutes and can get to 1-2hrs depending on size of party.... Parking is challenging. On this evening they had already sold out on their scallops. We ordered clam chowder which was tasty butlight on seafood flavor although they use razor clams. The baked halibut was moist and house salad had fresh greens. One thingnoticeable was light serving on vegetables with entrée which may be due to supply chain or chef?s discretion. Hostess andserver were friendly and welcoming. Server was attentive to notice when one guest salmon was cooked beyond medium rare and wasreplaced with a properly cooked salmon. Read more
It was hard to pick a place to eat in Homer, but golly did we get it right when we walked into this restaurant! It was nice and... quiet compared to the ruckus outside from the boardwalk filled with tourists. Most importantly the food was absolutelydelicious, and every dish we saw coming from the kitchen made our mouths water. Cool looking restaurant and good vibe, but ultimately disappointing. Got the halibut because, it?s Homer, it?s gotta be as good... as it gets. The flavor was good, but the fish was over cooked and dry. At $41 for a small filet, I expected perfection. I hadbetter halibut at the Anchorage airport for half the price. Read more
Great place to go for good seafood. Very busy but our wait was only a few minutes. Our server was very knowledgeable and... attentive. We had crab legs, chowder and seafood sampler. All was well prepared and had ample portions. I especially enjoyed thechowder. Read more
