I been coming to this place before it was called Maya Mexican. I remember it as Los Compadres. Though, the food is always good... and fulfilling. ???? ???? Pros, cons, and pictures below. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Birmingham. I always choose Maya when I'm craving Mexican takeout because the food is... much better than the others around, yet the prices still reflect what you'd expect to pay at a Mexican restaurant. Never had abad experience here and been several times. I always ask for extra salsa when ordering takeout for more than one person. Read more
