Culture was soooo dope! I wish I would have taken a pic of my food but it was so good I couldn't slow down. I went for a... Caribbean night on Friday and the band was amazing. The catfish, Mac n cheese and collard greens tasted like my grandmother's! Ican't wait to go back and see Francesca perform on Thursday night. Love this spot. It's definitely a "Love Jones" vibe. Very disorganized and inattentive staff. Although being seated right away, we had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to be... greeted by our server. Been waiting for a HOUR for our food!! The place itself is a whole vibe. They had live music playing, the margaritas were ok, and the food was pretty good. The only... thing I had a problem with is that when I paid I didn't get a receipt with a breakdown of the total amount I spent there. I onlyreceived a credit card receipt with my grand total. I ordered 2 baked chicken plates with two sides, two margaritas and a vodkaPineapple cocktail and my total came out to $110.00. Seems a little bit pricey for what I purchased, definitley would of wentdowntown instead with those prices. Read more
