A beautiful setting and very hospitality staff, but menu lacks diversity and food quality and portions not up to par for big... city prices. We had to send back 2 dishes including a $26 chicken plate that could not of had more than 1 oz of chicken. Themanger came over and addressed it quickly acknowledging the portion as a mistake. Our their dish was ice cold (pork). Sadly, asthis place has grown it seems to have lost a bit of its charm. The old barn and the adjoining, recently improved, outsideterrace are really special, but the attempts to make this upscale has really changed the way we view the restaurant. The dinnermenu is small serving tiny courses and will run you about $40 per person (without drinks, dessert, or coffee). Our recent dinnerexperiences have been mediocre at best and at $150 per couple that's a deal breaker. Unfortunately, entrées only for dinner, sohaving a burger or chicken sandwich is not an option. This is bad because we often have friends visit who would love to see theproperty, but don't want to drop $200+ for their teenagers and they to have dinner. Too bad. Lunch used to be served outsidefrom a window and the pork and burgers were great, but with the recent changes there's only table service and our two sandwichesand a split salad ran nearly $50 with tip. BYOB and that's a pricey burger. As mentioned, the property is beautiful, but I justdon't feel like there's much value here once everything is tallied up. Read more

We went here for a couples night on a Friday. We sat outside on a lovely evening with live music playing. We ordered one item... from each course on the menu lingered over our food for over two hours and had a lovely time. You definitely pay for thefarm-to-table experience and the ambience but I believe it is worth it. Read more

My burger and fries were delicious, but it was way overpriced and it seemed to take a long time to prepare it. Of course, the... scenery there is beautiful. I do not understand why the pricing cannot be more reasonable. Nineteen dollars for a burger andfries is rather steep. It seems like many other diners feel the same way. Read more

I would give it 5 stars based on experience as the setting and views are all amazing. The food however was just okay and... overpriced. We got the pork terrine as an appetizer which actually was surprisingly really good. I then got the beef shoulderand was very under impressed. It was dry and tasted exactly like a pot roast made in a crock pot. My wife's entree was just okayas well. We then got the honey pie for dessert and it was actually amazing but sure better be for $9.50 a piece. The place has alot of potential but still has quite a ways to go to justify spending that much.
