I wish I could give this place 10 stars. When you have the food here you feel like you've been invited to a family friend's... house. You can taste the love of multiple generations. I had the pineapple spare ribs and the walnut pie. Everything wasperfect. Even the house salad dressing fits a balance of sweet and acidic. Y'all, this place is a must. Many restaurants claimthat you're home when you're there. But here, it absolutely feels like it is in the best way possible. Read more
What an amazing little gem we found! We had just finished at Akaka Falls State Park, and decided to drive north and check out... Honokaa. We wanted something to eat, but had no idea what to get. We decided to pull over when we got cellular data service sowe could look for restaurants, and as luck would have it, we parked right in front of Andrade's Honokaa Cafe. We wereimmediately greeted when we walked in, and were asked if we were hungry. When we said yes, she said, "Well, you've come to theright place!". The food was absolutely amazing! My wife and I shared an order of Pineapple Spare Ribs, served with rice, saladand sweet rolls.We also shared a bowl of Portuguese Soup and Chicken & Rice Soup. We finished by sharing a Coconut milkshake fordessert. The best part was getting to know the owners, Archie and Marlene. Such a sweet and extraordinary couple! They took thetime to recommend things for us to do for the remainder of our trip. If you are passing through Honokaa, you simply must stop inand pay Marlene and Archie a visit. Cute cafe run by sweet old couple. The ham sandwich was AMAZING. Super thick, sweet bread - had to smash it to fit into my... mouth. Chicken and rice soup was fantastic too. Great root beer float. Read more

Wasn?t looking for anything more than two iced coffees? what we found was an experience of Aloha and Ohana with the owners of... this cafe which has been a family?s joy to showcase what equates to down-home quality food, great personality, and an atmospherewhich make you feel great even after leaving. My wife and I kept mentioning how sweet this couple is and our desire to go backsoon to try out their other great dishes. I was not in the mood for a 2pm Brownie Delight; but, I was sold by probably the mostconvincing argument to try. Simply it would be the best Brownie I could ever have. I was not disappointed. How did this womanknow my body craved this morsel of greatness? It was so good in fact that I refused to share it with my wife?.
