For my family's 4th restaurant experience, we saw people carrying a cup that said this restaurants name and a to go cup. In our... hotel's hot tub, we decided to go to this joint, hopefully we are gonna have some good food after the past 3 restaurantexperiences have been either not good or Nothing special. Let's see if this joint is good to our expectations. We got the CreamCheese Wontons to start off. Now we usually get Wontons at Chinese restaurants buy these were SOO good! They had a very goodcrunch and the filling was very good! And the sweet and sour sauce complimented it so well. Next we had the Honey GlazedShrimp. It was tempura battered and fried to a crisp and glazed with a honey glaze. The taste was a cripy and a sweet aftertaste and it was a perfect combination. Finally we had the BBQ Mix Plate. It had Chicken Thighs, Thinly sliced Beef, and PorkChops with white rice and Macaroni Salad. Everything was good except for the Mac Salad. But it was some nice authentic HawaiianBBQ. L&L is a guilty pleasure of mine every time I come to Hawaii. I enjoyed my meal very much but the menu is rather limited... compared to what their other locations offer. This place also serves beer, which is a great addition to their platemeals. There are no mini plates so if you eat sensibly, split your meal with someone else otherwise you will get a ton of food. We were looking for something Hawaiian and came across this place. I am so glad we found it! The food was absolutely amazing.... The flavors were just right and great portion size for the price and not over priced like a lot of other restaurants. Irecommend the grilled beef or garlic shrimp. We liked this place so much that we came a second time before our trip was over andof course we weren?t disappointed the second time around either. I would 100% recommend! Read more
