We just recently moved from Mobile and was trying to find good seafood. We FOUND IT! Amazing.
I like this place! We drove from Tuscaloosa to try it out...The staff was friendly...the food came out in a reasonable time.. it... wasn't very crowded. I had the blackened shrimp po boy which was full of shrimp and tasty but it was a lot of bread and you putit together yourself so it was a bit dry but just ok. My daughter had the shrimp Alfredo and my friend had the chickenalfredo... I'm getting it next time because it was steamy hot until the end... very saucy and just plain delicious. Shecouldn't eat it all and when she reheated it in the microwave at home it was just like it had just come from the kitchen! My first impression was the atmosphere here is really nice (family and friend oriented). I arrived around 7:30 not knowing the... kitchen closed at 8. For an appetizer we ordered the fried gator bites. They were tough and the garnish as you can see was notpleasing. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and my friend ordered the snapper dinner. The stuffed shrimp was horrible. It tasted likeit had been sitting there a while or like it was rewarmed. The rice was mushy like potatoes and very bland. I was not pleasedwith my meal at all. My food tasted like the kitchen was already closed. I tasted the snapper it was pretty good. The texture ofthe fish was amazing. The sauce was delicious.
