Tomatello's is a great spot to begin with, but even better knowing that they are tree nut free. After speaking with Ayda, she... informed me that she is "very allergic to them as well, therefore NO issues." Occasionally there are coconut popsiclesavailable, but I was assured that they had no trace amounts of any other tree nuts, and presented no cross-contamination risk.Tomatello's is always fresher than Chipotle, and the local, family-owned restaurant has a welcoming environment that could neverbe matched by Chipotle. This place is delicious! I genuinely don't understand the few poor reviews. The food is SO fresh! I love that you can really... taste each ingredient rather than tons of salt or sauce. That's not to say that the food is flavorless... It isn't! I justappreciate being able to taste actual peppers, onions, etc. Love it here! Read more

I didn't like their guacamole (way too salty along with too salty chips) or seafood stew (didn't taste like fresh tomatoes or... have any kind of smoky, spicy/tangy flavor, reminded me of canned tomato soup) but my friend shared her empanada with me, whichwas really unique and delicious. So I conclude from all the outstanding reviews that you need to order the correct dishes, ofwhich the empanada is one of them. However, it's unlikely that I will return.
