Had the pot roast. It was absolutely delicious. Had baked apples. They were good. Turnip greens needed a little more... seasoning. Biscuits were oh so good. Very busy at about 6:30 on a Sunday night. I did take out Good service. Read more

They were only using the main serving room. Over half was empty when we arrived and they were telling everyone including us that... there would be at least a 20 minute wait. It took about that to be seated. Our server was reasonably attentive but not verypersonable. The food was that particular cracker barrel's usual Luke warm. Seems I have never gotten anything there that wasn'tlike warm at best. Our pinto beans were bottom of the pot dry. No juice what so ever. I got meatloaf because the people besideus got it and it looked good. What I got was dry like it had been cut into slices and left in a warmer all day. We elected tohave cornbread with our meal and it was so small that you could not use your hand to break it in half to apply butter. Afterusing a knife to slice it in half you had to mash the butter into it because it was not warm enough to melt the butter. We askedfor raw onion to add to our meal to add some flavor. I noticed that the people beside us had eaten very little of the meatloafthat they had gotten. I totally understand why. The manager was assisting the servers and bussing the tables also and that wasin between running up front to take care of business. Read more

Shari and decided to go to lunch here today with a gift card Cracker barrel sent me. I got the catfish one fried and one grilled... spicy with okra and carrots. Shari got the hamburger steak which did not look appetising to me with hashbrown casserole andveggies. The kitchen took a good bit, but that seems to be the norm. Our server thought he would save time and table visits bydoubling up on out drinks right away. The meal was good minus the okra which was obviously cooked and sitting in a warmer, forit was most chewy and I did not eat. Shari I reckon enjoyed her meal. The server assumed we were done and dropped the bill offand was not gonna stop back by and hardly did so anyway. We finally got him by and ordered peach cobbler and apple pie to go,which I guess means no ice cream. I paid which took 15 plus minutes for them to figure out how to use the e-gift card and homewe went. Read more

Doesn't matter where you go, The food at Cracker Barrel is always cooked like it was Sunday dinner at your Grandmas house!... AWESOME! Always great. The only difference is the service...which at times is great and others its good. But keep in mind, theservers are working long hours and on their feet all day. So cut them some slack. But in regards to this Cracker Barrel, It wasamazing all around! Read more
