Food was delicious. Wait staff friendly.
The meatballs tasted like homemade which is a very good thing to me! We didn?t love the pizza but that was trying something... different from the usual so that doesn?t really count. We were informed that there was only one chef so service would be veryslow. The food took a bit but our server made sure we never felt neglected so the wait was not an issue. Overall greatexperience! Attended this restaurant on Thursday 19 May after my wife's aunt's funeral service. Group reservation and family style dinner... of salad, two pasta dishes, chicken parmigiana with cannolis for dessert. Very nice ambiance. The meal was very tasty and theservice staff were fast, polite and very efficient. Due to where I live (outside the U.S.), it's doubtful that I will ever beback to Louies Hanover Square but should I ever find myself in the neighbourhood again, I'd return. We saw Louie's on our way to dinner last night. We read the reviews and we're hoping for a great dinner. Boy were we wrong. We... ordered a herbivore pizza which was so spicy we knew we couldn't eat it. The waitress indicated it should not have been spicyand took it back. She returned a few minutes later to tell us chili peppers rather than green bell peppers were used. Sheassured us the owner was making another one for us. The waitress was very apologetic and offered to get us milk or bread. Thereplacement was tasty. Here's a couple of things we'd like to add, there could have been a discount to compensate us for theerror or management could have stopped by to apologize. The second point, we were not aware of the 7 percent non cash additionalcost for using a credit card. We weren't aware of that until the waitress brought our card back with the check to sign.
