Solid choice for something local, if you are visiting or passing through. The bbq/ribs are decent, but save bbq for Texas, st... Louis, or the southeast. Also don't expect too much. It's simple local fried fare, with some sauces. Arkansas likes it's sugar,so some things lean sweet, but my wife and kids (9,13,16) ate enough. It was not terribly expensive, and was not a big chain.The shrimp was the highlight. Chicken an burger are fine. The catfish was not very fishy, so if that's your jam, go for it! Read more
I ordered the number three which included catfish and french fries. The catfish was perfectly cooked and the french fries were... flavorful with both the fish and fries having the right amount of crispy coated outside and soft tender inside. I was in the area on vacation and saw this as a hot spot. I tried the 2 piece catfish basket, and I added 1 chicken finger, and... 1 rib. I started with the rib, and I am glad I did since it wasn't good. I'd give it a 2 stars out of 5. It was old, dry, andnot well smoked. I'm from Texas and I'd day BBQ is a weekly food for me. The chicken tender was very good. It was tender, thebreading was perfect, and it was juicy. Honestly I should have had a basket of these. A solid 5 stars. The catfish was good butnot great, a little more fishy taste for me but maybe it has more to do with following the great chicken tender. Still a solid 4stars for me.
