This BBQ and smoked meats are the best I have eaten on this side of the devide. Very clean and cozy dining area. Their catering... can handle large groups with meat and sides ! Also their sides are very tasty! I have taken it out 3 times . And now I'm planning on dining in for their prime rib !! ?? Read more
Got to restaurant at about 5 min. To 6. They were very busy. Got a table right away. The owner was cleaning a table right next... to us. Said hello and the waitress will be with you as soon as she can. 10 min later a couple came and sat 2 tables down fromus. The owner came to our table about 5 min later and took our drink order because we had yet to see the waitress. He assured usthe waitress would be with us shortly. Meanwhile the couple on the other table got their drinks. And had their order taken. Theowner finally took our order at about 6:20. We then met our waitress a couple min later when she can to ask "what do you what".While she was at our table the other couples food was delivered. We finally got food at 6:40. French dip on a stale roll.Chopped beef ordered without pickles but came with pickles and Luke warm rubber french fries were delivered by the owner. He sawthe pickles on the sandwich and returned it to the kitchen to get the order fixed. They removed the pickles. If you don't likesomething you will understand when I tell you that the only thing I could taste of the sandwich was pickle. The owner was veryapologetic, offered to get more fries " they will only take a minute." And did not charge us for the meal. Zacks has always hadbad service. But usually the food is good. friends took us for breakfast and it is delicious. The portion is generous and we were so full the entire day. I had a... sandwich with 2 eggs and 2 sausage patties, and added hash brown on the side. the hash brown is crispy! Read more
Had a breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Overall the restaurant appears clean. The staff is friendly, but a bit slow and... disorganized(this is the reason for only 4 stars). I can only speak to the breakfast food as that is what we had. The 2 eggsandwich was pretty good. 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties on texas toast was done well. My brothers with me both had biscuits andgravy, and were both very underwhelmed. The sausage in the gravy mix was almost non existent, little BB size portions of meatand a bland gravy. The biscuits were just ok as well, nothing special about them. All in all I would rate the breakfast sideof this place as a greasy spoon diner, and they do it fairly well. Small side note for any motorcycle riders out there becareful in the parking lot. There are lots of very small rocks, and one of our guys went down because of it. Read more

Very nice staff. We had the three meat platter. It was dry, lacking flavor, and tasted off. The pie, pickle, and the roll were... good. Beans and potato salad tasted fairly plain. They add a take out fee and a card fee. Maybe they were just having an offday. We will not be going back. Read more
