I ordered 2 burritos dinners for curbside pick up last Saturday night 7/18, around 9:30 pm. Upon trying to eat the burritos... noticed the dough was raw. There were no char marks or browning on the flour tortillas. Using the fork to eat it was likestirring raw dough. The filling was tasty so tried to eat it but it just got more raw as I approached the center. The otherburrito, I stuck a fork in it and was the same way like stirring dough. I had a stomach ache all night from eating the littlebit I did. The food must have contained some sort of bacteria since it was undercooked. I went back to the restaurant Sundayafternoon for a refund of the meal and my 25% tip around $35. I spoke with Daniella who claim to be the manager. She saidtheir policy was no refunds on food. They could remake or give me a store credit. First, I wanted a burrito Saturday nightnot Sunday afternoon. Secondly They insisted there was nothing wrong with the raw Flour tortilla, the sauce made it soft. Whywould I want another raw flour tortilla? I explained to her, it wasn't the softness, the dough was raw. Daniella said shewould see what could be done and went to the back for about 10 minutes talking with someone on the phone. She came back brieflyto seat some customers who were waiting to be seated. Daniella never addressed my issue again. Instead a guy came up front totell me their store policy is no refunds. I guess she wasn't the manager. I ask what about the store policy to cook foodthoroughly and prepared correctly? He had no answer. I asked where is their no refund policy? It wasn't on the receipt orposted anywhere in the restaurant. Apparently this restaurant does not care about customer satisfaction or serving fullycooked food. I have had their burritos in the past but this is the first time back since the beginning of Covid-19. Was in the area and stopped by for an impromptu dinner with some friends. Love that they had daily specials and happy hour.... Portions are what you expect in Houston! The drinks could be bigger tho. My gf came to visit me from Atlanta via San Diego for Dia de Los Muertos weekend and after our spa day, I searched best happy... hour near me and found Aguirre's. Oh what a gem!!!!! We had an amazing experience. Our waitress, Hailey, was so adorable andsweet. She had excellent recommendations and was prompt and attentive. Gabby, the manager, is the epitome of what an excellentrestaurant manager should be. She seen me looking around and thought I needed something. I was actually just checking out thecool decor for the holiday. So she comes over to check on us. Wow! Where did this angel decend from? We chatted a bit and nextthing I know, we've got queso blanco to try and it was yummy. So Michael, the very fit and fabulous guy running the drinks wasdefinitely a sight for sore eyes.
