I would give this place ZERO ?? if possible! Not only did I wake up with FOOD POISONING, but the SERVICE once again, for the 2nd... time was terrible! I ordered white queso. Don't ever do that there because it apparently takes longer than 15 people's foodbeing cooked and served. I canceled the queso after asking about it twice!..and our food already coming out. I ordered crispychicken tacos and substituted the rice/ beans for veggies! No veggies. I had to get up and go find my waiter and ask for what Iahd already ordered. I also asked for cilantro TWICE. NEVER GOT IT. ...had to find the waiter for those requests too. Never goteven one refill on my water. FINALLY my vegetables came. They were ice cold in the middle!!! WHO IS RUNNING THIS FOODESTABLISHMENT?!?! FIRE YOURSELF AND ALL YOUR STAFF. This is the 2nd terrible.experience I had there. I told my sister to notchoose this place ???? After all the screw ups they took $6 off my total cost. Are you kidding me??!! Alma Latina needs to beSHUT DOWN. After all the inconvenience and terrible food and service, I get food poisoning!! Not a fun or a functional thing tohave especially as a single mother taking care of a 4 year old. If all that wasn't enough, they really made a disaster ofsplitting our check. I picked up lunch for my 85 year-old mother and was very disappointed. I purchased a chicken soup which I served to my mother. I... noticed that it did not have chicken legs, breast, or wings, that are regularly in the soup; the meat was minced. I still gaveit to her, hoping that was the only issue with it, but it was not. After 15 minutes, I went to check on my mother, to make sureshe was ok, but she said she could not eat the soup, because it was very spicy. I myself tried it and it was very spicy. Istirred the soup around, only to find a whole chipotle pepper mixed in the soup. Never before, when I ordered this dish, had itbeen presented this way, or as spicy as it was. I come here every other Friday. I enjoy the bands playing and my favorite the snow crab. I always sit In the bar and love Edgar.... I mean his attention to my needs is really impressive. He knows my drink from memory and my mom, and my sisters. I don?t evenhave to ask for a new drink Edgar is always attentive. However, tonight 8/19/2022 10-11:30PM Edgar is not here anymore and thereis this new lady on it?s half black and red hair. I had to call her multiple times to ask for another drink and for my food. By11:30 PM we were the only ones in the bar and still no attention. There is two people a restaurant should take care of 1, theircustomers as we are the main source of income to the establishment. Two, their employees as they are the ones that help you maketheir money. I have been running restaurants for 12 years and I hope this helps improve something in your service. Hiring thewrong people can break a restaurant and every customer feedback should be taken into large considera if you are trying toimprove your sales.
