My experience is based on pollo a la brasa, I haven't tried other dishes. I ordered 1/4 of pollo a la brasa white chicken.... However, I got 1/8 or a little more than that, but definitely not 1/4 (check the photo). The chicken was clearly missing by farthe tip of the breast. At first, I thought this was a mistake, that they were serving me just 1/8. However I was told that "inour countries they usually serve more". This phrase makes me think they are not Peruvians (which makes sense because they sellfood from other South American countries as well). But by saying that, they wanted me to think that this is common in US...Really? I've been living in different states so far and have tried already 4 restaurants in Houston and they always gave me acomplete 1/4 of chicken. 1/4 of chicken includes full 1 wing with full side part of the breast (including the tip). 1/4 of achicken is universal. Everyone knows about it. Then they told me that probably the chef cut it a "little" high when he wassegmenting this part from the 1/4 dark chicken. As you can see in the photo, it was not just a little high. It was significantlyhigh. If the chef is the problem, Los Andes needs someone else to cut the chicken because that cut was significantly off. Then, because I complained, they gave me another piece with the same cut. That makes me think that Los Andes 1/4 cut of pollo a labrasa is always like that: not a Real/Universal 1/4 cut of white chicken... Are we supposed to go from now to every restaurantand ask if the 1/4 chicken is full or less than 1/4????? Los Andes needs to correct that. Otherwise more people is going to feelcheated like myself. I also feel offended when they said that in our countries they serve more or normal 1/4 chicken. This onlyhappened to me here in Los Andes. I have tried pollo a la brasa in many restaurants in Birmingham, Chicago, Miami, Los Angelesand Houston and never was like this. Lastly, the taste of the chicken was no good. Maybe they are better Read more

I am super stoked to have found this small yet flavorful place! I love Peruvian food, especially the ceviche. We ordered... everything from the tequenos, empanadas, ceviche mixto, and the Lomo saltado. First off, the empanadas were full of beef andjuicy. I have had empanadas at other placed where they skimp out on the beef and stuff more potatoe than anything-this was notthe case. The Ceviche was finger licking good. Lastly, the Lomo was so soft and tender. Very impressed with the amount of flavorthey packed onto each plate. I wish I would have gotten dessert but honestly, I was stuffed.. Guess now I have another reasonto come back. Try them out! Also be patient, they were super busy but worth the wait. Read more

Andes is one of my favorite at the post market. It’s also healthy like you can switch the side from fries to salad. Have to... try their coconut shrimp curry rice! I can’t find a photo here but it’s the best! Read more
