Lasagna and a fine Syrah. The butternut squash soup was velvety and the Caesar salad was almost too much food. Very comfortable... setting. Read more

A wonderful, comfortable, neighborhood spot. The gnocchi is to die for ( they make their own), and the lasagne is also great.... Nice quiet restaurant. There is bar seating and two TVs at the bar. Good wine selection. Read more

Second time at Bacaro and they are 2 for 2 in my book. The food, service and community atmosphere is great. Maria could not be... nicer and more helpful when it comes to navigating the wine and food menus. Brandon is an absolutely blast to be around fordinner. Would highly recommend for some great food while supporting a local business. Looking forward to many more trips back. Read more

Had a good time! Happy hour is before 6p, and the glasses are half off (small pour). The service was awesome and everyone was so... friendly. It is recommended to book a reservation cause it fills up after 6p. I had the special lobster bisque and it was sogood! Server offered bread and it was so good and warm. The calamari was awesome! My wife ordered a pasta dish and it wasdelicious! Read more

I was getting some work done at the coffee shop next door but when they closed, I decided it was wine o’clock. I came in... around 5pm on a Friday evening and only a few tables were occupied. It didn’t matter either way for me because I was solo andI like sitting at the bar. Speaking of the bar, the left side has lower seating. It seemed more people preferred the higherseating on the right so keep that in mind. They filled pretty quickly. In fact, the place began filling up around 6-630. Makereservations. The interior is beautiful. Very clean and well appointed. Much more than I expected from a strip mall place thatreally doesn’t give much curb appeal. It’s somewhere between upscale wine bar and casual eatery. From what I hear, they’ve only been open 3 years but have a lot of repeat customers. It’s a family business and Bill and his family arelovely. They make a point to ask everyones names and have conversations. The family are travelers, having previously lived inHaiti. I naturally gravitate toward people who are worldly. It probably attributes to their empathetic, nature. I’lldefinitely return! Read more
